Youl Bol, 26, of Brooks, who is a known repeat offender and is currently on conditions that include serving jail time on weekends, was arrested last week for breaching his court conditions and resisting arrest.

Mounties say Bol was seen in a suspicious vehicle in the early morning hours of Nov. 8 while conducting patrols in the Plaza Apartments parking lot.

The officer was aware Bol had failed to check in as required and approached the vehicle to make an arrest.

When an officer informed Bol he was under arrest for failing to comply, he resisted arrest but was eventually taken into custody without further incident.

Upon a further search, police also discovered two stolen documents on his person.

Bol was charged with three counts of failing to comply with conditions, two counts of possession of stolen property, resisting arrest and possession of identity documents.

He was transported to the Remand Centre and made a court appearance on Wednesday.
