Emergency crews respond at Medicine Hat Airport after small plane reportedly lands short of runway

An incident involving a small air craft on the main runway of the Medicine Hat Regional Airport required response from emergency services Wednesday afternoon.

At approximately 2:30 p.m. Airport operations staff and emergency service providers responded to the incident and have since cleared the scene according to a social media post from the city. The aircraft remains on the runway.

They say the operations team is working to restore normal airport operations and further updates will be provided once operations resume.
