The Medicine Hat Police Service is asking the public for help finding 14-year-old Garry “Junior” Cote, from Lethbridge, who police have confirmed to have been in the Medicine Hat area within the past 36 hours.
Police have released photos of the missing teen, who is described as Indigenous, approximately 100 pounds, 5-foot-2 with black hair and brown eyes.
Cote was last seen wearing jeans and a red zip-up hoodie with a monster face on the front.
Officers say Cote was reported missing to the MHPS on Oct. 31, and since that time there has been an active search to locate the teenager.
At this time, circumstances surrounding Cote’s disappearance are not considered suspicious, however police would like to locate him and check in on his wellbeing.
