The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program seeks to help residents bring an eco-friendly splash of colour to their lunchboxes with a beeswax wrap workshop. On Nov. 18 from 2-4 p.m., participants will learn how to transform fabric and natural wax into a functional alternative to plastic wrap. Those attending will be provided with the tools, supplies and instructions to make their own wraps for a cost of $5 each. The program is appropriate for those aged 10 years or older. If the weather is pleasant, the workshop will be held outside the Nature Centre, so participants are advised to dress for the weather. Anyone interested is asked to visit the centre, or call 403-529-6225, as registration is required. 5
