asmith@medicinehatnews.com The first full moon in November is known as the beaver moon and the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is inviting residents out to properly enjoy it. Participants will walk to Co-op lookout in order to best see the full moon in the sky on Nov. 5, meeting at 5 p.m. to begin the program. “This year’s beaver moon is also the closest Supermoon of the year, so it will be larger and brighter than usual,” said park interpreter Erika Derman. While the event is free to attend, registration is required. Those interested are asked to visit the Nature Centre or call 403-529-6225 to secure their place. 6
