Police seek pickup truck involved in BB gun shooting

Medicine Hat police are looking for a navy-blue Ford F-150 extended cab pickup truck believed to be involved in a shooting downtown toward people using a BB gun.

Earlier in the month on Oct. 2 video surveillance captured images of the suspect vehicle in the 400 block of Third Street SE, where witnesses reported the BB gun being discharged from the pickup toward people in the area.

No injuries were reported, however witnesses told police they have seen the same pickup truck involved in similar incidents in the past.

Police have released this image from CCTV in the area of the pickup truck equipped with chrome running boards, chrome wheel well trim and a chrome toolbox mounted in the bed. No licence plate number has been provided.

The driver is described as a white male and the passenger a white female, both believed to be in their early 20s.

Officers are asking anyone with information on the identity of the alleged suspects to contact Sgt. Brain Bohrn at 403-594-0638.
