Mustard Seed to deliver Thanksgiving meals to shelter guests today

The Mustard Seed will be delivering Thanksgiving meals to shelter guests today to ensure that nobody feels alone for the holiday.

Each year, the Mustard Seed’s Thanksgiving dinners offer warmth and dignity to hundreds of people experiencing poverty, homelessness or isolation. It is through this meal that the Mustard Seed continues to act by its principle that compassion has no barriers.

Volunteers, staff and community members come together to prepare hearty, homestyle meals and share gratitude.

“Thanksgiving at The Mustard Seed is a celebration of community care,” said Laura Giesbrecht, senior director food services. “It’s a reminder that hope grows when we come together.”
