newsdesk@medicinehatnews.com In its latest public programming, the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is putting on a children’s nature walk next week. The Discovery Tree Children’s Nature Walk will take place Friday, Sept. 26 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in Police Point Park. Next week’s event aims to teach children about the types of wildlife that can be found at Police Point and the curious places they build their homes, including nests, trees and even dead leaves. It is geared toward pre-school aged children. This event is free to the public and does not require advance registration.
