Athletic Park parking lot construction underway

Construction has begun to replace the deteriorating parking lot at Athletic Park as crews perform structural and surface repairs to fill in cracking and potholes.

Construction was scheduled to begin later in the year to reduce impact on facility programming and is expected to conclude in early October.

Once complete, the parking lot will meet current standards, improve accessibility and add to the existing aesthetic of enhancements in the area.

Athletic Park will remain open during construction, and programming will be unaffected during the work.

Drivers are asked to park on the northwest side and enter the facility from the west service gate and the patio and deck entry gate (or gates 3 and 5).

Gate 6, the east service gate, will also be accessible to facility staff during the construction.
