Crestwood pool temporarily closed for repairs

Until further notice the Crestwood Rec Centre pool has been closed due to a mechanical issue.

The city has not yet provided a timeline for repairs. To alleviate the problem, efforts were made by city staff last weekend to open the Kinsmen Aquatic Park at Big Marble Go Centre ahead of schedule.

The leisure pool, hot tub and toddler pool are ready for use, with the 50m swimming track set to open Monday.

“We regret any inconvenience this has caused, and thank you for your patience and continued support,” a city release says.

The fitness centre at Crestwood pool is expected to remain open and fully operational while work is done to resolve the issue.
