Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is exploring what makes watershed healthy, and is hoping residents will come along. “How do we know if a waterbody is healthy and clean? What lives in the water? How do we assess water quality? We will share the answers to these questions and more during this family-friendly public program,” says Mhairi Donnelly, assistant chief interpreter. This is a free public program, however registration is required. Those who call 403-529-6225, or visit the Nature Centre to register, will meet by the pond beside Ajax Coulee in Kin Coulee Park at 10 a.m. on Sept. 13 to be freshwater scientists. 5
