Brooks RCMP are seeking the whereabouts of 20-year-old Fatima Ahmed, who was last seen in Brooks this past Thursday.
Fatima is black with brown hair, 5 feet tall and approximately 105 pounds.
RCMP is asking anyone with information on Ahmed’s whereabouts to contact Brooks RCMP detachment at 403-641-3684.
Online notification system
RCMP in Brooks are urging residents to stay informed by downloading the RAVE mobile safety mass notification system, a web-based communications platform designed to enhance community safety and enhance crime prevention efforts.
Users can register online, then select the region, or regions, they wish to receive alerts for, as well as the type of information they want to receive.
This includes traffic advisory notifications, crime prevention tips, requests for public assistance and general public safety messages delivered through the system.
Once registered, community members can choose how they receive these alerts over email, text message or phone.
“By staying informed and engaged, residents can assist police and contribute to the safety and awareness of their communities,” reads a press release.
