College Avenue roadwork underway

A section of College Avenue will temporarily close to alternating lanes as city crews are busy resurfacing roadways throughout the week.

Work on a section of road between College Avenue and College Drive will be ongoing until Thursday as the roads receive annual resurfacing.

The work will affect College Avenue between College Drive and the Trans-Canada Highway, as well as College Drive between College Avenue and Markwick Drive.

The paving will wrap up Thursday and then next week crews will move to S. Boundary Road for the final section of the annual roadway resurfacing program.

The city expects traffic delays during the work and asked motorists to drive with caution in the area.
