Sunrise Park in Dunmore will be lively Saturday for the annual Dunmore Days.
The all-day event gets underway early with events running from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Sunrise Park, hosted by the Dunmore Community Association.
The day kicks off with a free pancake breakfast from 9-11 a.m., donated and served by Cypress County council members while quantities last.
The day’s events feature toddler bounce houses (age 1-6) and a slide bounce attraction for all ages. Face painting, arts and crafts, balloon animals, a roving magician and more will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cypress County Fire and Rescue will “make it rain” twice during the afternoon from noon to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30-2 p.m. Halo Air Ambulance will fly over at 12:35 p.m.
A family dance, featuring DJ Troy with a fog and light show will wrap up the day from 7-9 p.m., with karaoke starting at 8 p.m.
There are multiple food options for attendees.
The Kiwanis Food Truck will be set up from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Millie’s Sodas and Sweets will keep sugar flowing from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Swirls will spin cones from noon to 6 p.m.
There will also be a free barbecue for the first 200 people, all donated and served by Canadian National Resources Limited.
Thirsty Dunmore Days enthusiasts can visit the beer gardens onsite from noon to 9 p.m.
