Tickets on sale for movie night youth-centre fundraiser at Redcliff pool

The Redcliff Aquatic Centre is teaming up with the Redcliff Youth Centre to host a movie night fundraiser at the swimming pool with a screening of Jurassic World.

Tickets are now on sale for the Neon Lights $ Movie Night Fundraiser, which will include glow-in-the-dark games and competitions with prizes, foam cannons and a jumbo inflatable waterslide.

The fundraiser event is planned for Saturday, Aug. 23, 7:30 p.m. at the Redcliff Aquatic Centre, with the movie screening starting at 8:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10 each and all proceeds go directly to supporting the Redcliff Youth Centre’s local youth programming. Additionally, all funds raised will be matched up to 50 per cent by Rogers Birdies for Kids, presented by AltaLink.

The pool party will also include hot dogs and donuts on the deck. Participants are encouraged to bring their own floaties so they can watch the movie from the pool.

The Redcliff Youth Centre is community funded and contributes to provide programs to address the growing social-emotional needs in youth.
