Women’s shelter in need of various items for clients

With the start of August, the Medicine Hat Women’s Shelter Society has released its most needed items to help those needing support.

These items can be brought in, or donated via purchasing from the society’s Amazon wish list.

This month, organizers are seeking new bike helmets of various sizes, body lotion, chapstick, hair conditioner, women’s deodorant, night lights, new or gently used air fryers, tweezers, nail clippers, juice boxes, bug catchers and new pillows.

As always, they are in ongoing need of various items, including pyjamas, alarm clocks, baking sheets and other various household essentials which can be left behind when fleeing domestic violence.

Additionally, until Aug. 8, Shoppers Drug Mart will take donations of menstrual products on behalf of the MHWSS, for use by those in need of assistance.
