Police seeking information in Stampede brawl

The Medicine Hat Police Service is seeking information from the public following a physical altercation that occurred on the grounds during the final evening of the 2025 Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede.

Police on scene were called to the North gate gravel parking lot area shortly after 11:20 p.m. last Saturday after they received a complaint of an adult male and female involved in a physical altercation with Stampede security staff.

According to officers the couple got into a verbal altercation with staff at the four-way stop in the dirt parking lot, impeding traffic leaving the grounds.

The incident then escalated into a physical altercation near the exit gate onto 21st Avenue SE.

Police are asking anyone who may be able to identify the male or female to contact Const. Brent Bohrn directly at 403-529-8481.
