Road rehab work begins at Lake Newell Resort

newsdesk@medicinehatnews.com Road rehabilitation work that will cost more than $3.6 million and affect two blocks at Lake Newell Resort began Monday. The aging roads will receive surface replacements and needed upgrades to drainage, cribs, gutters and swales. The work will impact Block 1 (Blue Heron) and Block 4 (White Pelican) of the resort hamlet and residents will not be able to access their driveways during the roadwork. Residents will be able to park in a common area with shuttle buses to assist. 6-5
