asmith@medicinehatnews.com The Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede’s All Breed Horse Show is trotting onto the ground starting Friday morning, offering weekend entertainment for all equine lovers. The show at the Stampede grounds, will open bright and early at 8 a.m. on Friday with dressage and western dressage, and hunter over fences as the day turns into evening, complete with four different heights. Saturday at 8 am the English pleasure, equitation and hack classes will start the day off, with reining classes at 2 p.m. and ranch horse classes to follow, including ranch horse trail, riding and rail in two age divisions. To round out the weekend, Sunday will begin with halter and showmanship, followed by western pleasure, horsemanship and trail. There will be an open costume class, adding some creativity to the display of skill and bond each rider had with their horses. This year’s gymkhana classes, that have been expanded on from 2024, will end the show. The All Breed Horse show promises great entries this year in a wide variety of ages and levels. Those interested are encouraged to come out and watch the horses and riders perform as admission is free. 8
