West Coast Amusements brings back the fun midway during the Medicine Hat Stampede and passes are now on sale for all the big and little cowboy and cowgirls rides.
Returning this year are adrenaline pumping classics including the Zipper, Yo-Yo, Sizzler and Himalaya as well as gentle rides like the Berry-Go-Round and Dragon Wagon.
Last year WCA introduced a cashless system for rides, games and concession stands that will be used once again this year.
The system is called “magic money” and replaces the handling of cash with a pre-load system that was met with mixed reactions last year, however debit and credit cards are still accepted at all vendors.
All non WCA vendors, including Rotary, still accept cash.
All-day wristbands went on sale Friday online and can now be purchased for $45 at South Country Co-op grocery stores and gas bar locations throughout Medicine Hat, Dunmore and Redcliff. All-day ride wrist-bands will be on sale at the Stampede for $55.
Wristbands are good for one-day unlimited riding on the Midway but do not include general gate admission.
