The Medicine Hat Public Library is inviting families with younger children into the library, in order to immediately see them back out with a new summer goal. Those with children aged 12 or under can stop by the Kinsmen Children’s Library for a Playground Passport, which encourages a tour of the various playgrounds that can be found throughout the city. Participants can answer eight questions found within the passport, then return it to the library in order to be entered into a prize draw. Completed passports must be returned before Sept. 2 in order to be eligible. This program was made possible with the support of the Digital Wellness Coalition. 5
