@MedicineHatNews A man in Vermillion is charged with causing $1 million in damage on a vandalism spree that targeted a courthouse, provincial building health unit, RCMP cruisers, as well as a restaurant. RCMP in the town 60 kilometres west of Lloydminster say their six vehicles were badly damaged on the night of July 6, and nearby provincial facilities were broken into and showed extensive interior damage. A McDonald’s restaurant also sustained about $50,000 in damage. With assistance of the Kitscoty detachment and an Alberta RCMP dog service unit, a suspect was arrested after a tip from two youths in the city who witnessed some of the events. Steven Bodurka, 23, faces six charges of committing mischief to a vehicle valued above $5,000, two general mischief charges over $5,000 and breaking and entering. 6
