asmith@medicinehatnews.com The Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede have released the official schedule for the 2025 Queen Competition, encouraging residents to come out and encourage the next generation of Rodeo Royalty. This year sees two competitors, 18-year-old Joleigh Wood and 20-year-old Mila Stuut. “Join us in cheering on Mila and Joleigh as they compete in a series of events for the Rodeo Queen title. Each event is a chance to show your support and be part of the tradition,” said MHES on their Facebook page. The public events will begin on July 10 with horsemanship, which will take place at the Stampede Grandstand starting at 7p.m. Entry is by food bank donation. The following evening on July 11 at the Cypress Centre Auditorium is the dinner and speech night, which is $30 per ticket. Dinner will begin at 6:30p.m, with speeches to follow at 7p.m. On July 12, residents are encouraged to come out at 1p.m. to the Cypress Centre Auditorium for the fashion show portion of the competition, which only requires a donation to the Royalty Program for entry.
