Police in Regina are seeking any information that could lead to locating 46-year-old Erin Sawatzky and her eight-year-old daughter Zuri, who are considered at risk due to health concerns and are believed to be travelling across Western Canada.
The mother and daughter were last seen in Regina shortly after midnight on June 19. Police say there is no evidence to believe the mother and daughter have come to harm, but would like to locate them to ensure their safety.
Investigators believe the pair may be travelling through Saskatchewan, Alberta or British Columbia in a dark grey 2020 Honda CRV with Saskatchewan plates.
Sawatzky is described as 5-foot-2 approximately 110 pounds with brown shoulder length hair and brown eyes. She often wears her hair in a ponytail and is known to wear dark, circular sunglasses.
Zuri is described as 4 feet tall, approximately 60 pounds with long straight brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a red T-shirt.
Police are asking anyone who has information that could lead to locating the mother and daughter to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500. Anonymous tips can also be provided by contacting Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
