Hill Pool is set to reopen Saturday ahead of swimming lessons next week and a grand reopening celebration set for July 14.
Last fall the outdoor pool near Division Avenue on the South Hill was closed for life-cycle maintenance and upgrades budgeted to cost $1.25 million.
In two weeks, the “Hill Yeah!” pool party will see a live DJ provide music from 4-8 p.m. on the Monday evening, while other family-friendly activities are planned at the pool, deck and adjacent new playground.
