Brooks RCMP have charged a 32-year-old and 20-year-old female with assault with a weapon following a fight at a home last Saturday evening.
RCMP officers received a call about the altercation shortly before 10:15 p.m., and witnesses reported that the 32-year-old woman was struck in the head with a bottle, resulting in her requiring medical attention.
Upon further review of mercury camera footage and witness statements, both females were charged. No names have been released by police.
Charges laid in brawl
Bol Lual, 19, and Dodjang Lual, 23, both from Brooks, have been charged with assault causing bodily harm for their role in the brawl that occurred outside the Red Sea bar in Brooks on April 12.
Police responded to the bar fight shortly after 3:15 a.m. and located a male lying on the ground outside the establishment upon arrival, who was transposed to hospital for this injuries.
According to witnesses a verbal altercation escalated and two males who exited the bar were allegedly assaulted by two other males.
Police have kept surveillance footage that corroborates the account of the attack for evidence.
Both men are scheduled to appear before the court on July 9.
Wanted man
Brooks RCMP have shared a social media post warning the public to not approach Cody Fehr, who is wanted by RCMP for various crimes.
Fehr was last seen in Taber and has been known to visit Brooks, Bow Island, Coaldale, Lethbridge Country and Lomond.
A photo of Fehr’s mugshot has been released.
