Approval of education plan
MHPSD board trustees recently approved the fourth year of the 2022-26 Education Plan, which is structured around four universal goals that include optimal learning, inclusivity, wellness and truth and reconciliation.
“These goals reflect our commitment to student success through personalized and evidence-based instruction, inclusive practices and holistic development,” reads a press release.
The Education Plan is the division’s strategic framework for delivering education through equitable learning opportunities, and is developed through stakeholder engagement as well as the Alberta Education Assurance Framework.
This means MHPSD used research-based teaching strategies to enhance student achievement and continue expanding art, trade and athletics opportunities.
