MH Skateboard Association hosts garbage cleanup in downtown core

The Medicine Hat Skateboard Association hit the town Monday evening, eager to continue to make tangible change for the community with a garbage cleanup.

For members, the evening began with a meal from Medicine Hat Pizza, before they took to the downtown area, collecting trash and doing their part to keep the heart of the city clean for everyone to enjoy. After collecting several bags of trash, they ended their volunteering with ice cream from Swirls and some skateboarding.

“We had quite the turnout and it was a lot of fun, as usual,” said Jessikah Babe, marketing manager for MHSA.
