Seven Persons gets chance to show off community

Saturday saw a pair of festivities in Seven Persons, showcasing people and possibilities from the region.

Cars both from everyday travel and for display were visible from Highway 3, lining the streets as residents gathered for a celebration of the greater community.

The event surrounded Premium Sausage’s 35th anniversary sale, and the people of Seven Persons came together to make the weekend one to remember with a parade, Show and Shine and bouncy castles, among other activities.

The Seven Persons Fire Hall also hosted an open house down the street for the grand opening of the Seven Persons Multipurpose Building, offering games, tours of the new facility and emergency vehicles, plus a barbecue lunch by donation to HALO air ambulance, for those who weren’t partaking in sausage on a bun as part of the festivities.
