asmith@medicinehatnews.com Spring cleaning is extending to the city’s natural spaces with the help of the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program’s Shoreline Litter Picking Party. Attendees are invited out to Riverside Parking Lot in Police Point Park on May 31 to learn about the importance of the local watershed and the local plant and animal life that depend on it, while pitching in to help keep the space clean. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided to volunteers after the fact. While no registration is required and the event is free to attend, bags and gloves are required for those seeking to participate.
