Last Month local firefighters attended two structure fires along with 14 fires outdoors, as well as 17 motor vehicle collisions and 16 medical calls.

In April the emergency services dispatch team announced a new partnership with HALO Air Ambulance as its official flight-following team, which will track each mission in real-time and provide oversight that prioritizes safety and a swift response.
To continue ongoing celebration during the service’s 125th anniversary, the Medicine Hat Fire and Emergency Services held a ceremony April 28 to officially open a photo exhibition at the Esplanade Arts & Heritage Centre that will run over the next six months.
The photography exhibition features 25 selected photos of historical events that shaped the city’s history dating back to 1905.
Additionally on April 28 local fire crews joined fellow first responders and Tigers fans to send the team bus off down Highway 3, as they would go on to eliminate the Lethbridge Hurricanes from the WHL Playoffs to become Eastern Conference champs.
