@MedicineHatNews Portions of four major routes across the city will see repaving this spring and summer, according to the municipal works department. Curb work began this week on Maple Avenue ahead of milling in mid-June that will extend in both alternating directions from Second Street to the Allowance Avenue overpass. Paving will also be done on W. Boundary Road (leading from the Trans-Canada Highway to north Redcliff) to Box Spring Boulevard in early June after some road work early this month. College Avenue, from College Drive to the TCH overpass will see work in the June and paving in August. On S. Boundary Road, two sections of work will proceed between Southlands Drive and Southridge Drive later in the summer. The dividing point will be 13th Avenue, and upgrades include merge and turning lanes. Crews expect to maintain two-way traffic flow throughout construction in all areas. The full roadway resurfacing program is expected to conclude by Sept. 30. 9
