asmith@medicinehatnews.com Women in Business is highlighting some of the brightest stars in the community as they release this year’s Inspire Award nominees. This year saw seven nominees for the award, recognizing how these women have “overcome obstacles, mentored and inspired others and accomplished great achievements,” said WiB. The 2025 nominees are: Chelsey Ehresman, manager at the Centre for Innovation at Medicine Hat College; Chelsea Brooks, owner/operator of Essentials MediSpa; Michelle Benson, founder and operator of MT Nest Cafe; Leigh Fehr-Little, co-owner and operator of Solutions Pharmacy; Samantha Knibbs, owner and operator of SKFitness; Dr. Morgan Blair, dean the School of Business, School of Trades & Technologies, & Continuing Studies at Medicine Hat College; Pamela Kunz, general manager of Safety Buzz Campus. “The review committee is going to have a difficult time selecting the 2025 recipient of the award,” says WiB, as they have “received nominations for some truly inspiring women.” “The Women in Business Inspire Luncheon will be held June 6 at noon. This year’s event will feature a panel of exceptional local businesswomen who will share the inspirational stories behind their professional careers.” The recipient of the 2025 Inspire Award will be announced at the event, recognizing their commitment and contributions to the community. 15
