50/50 raffles for Stampede, MHPSD are now live

A pair of 50/50 ticket raffles, one supporting the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede and one for the Medicine Hat Public School Division, are now live.

The annual Stampede 50/50 raffle launched Thursday and supports upgrades and maintenance on Stampede grounds. This year there will be four early-bird draws worth $1,000 planned between April and July.

The ticket for the winning jackpots will be drawn Aug. 29. Deadline to purchase tickets is midnight Aug. 28.

50/50 Tickets for the Friends of the Fair Society are also available until Aug. 28.

Tickets can be purchased in person at the Stampede Officer or online by visiting mhstampede.com.

On Wednesday the MHPSD announced its Education Foundation 50/50 raffle is also live. Funding raised provides support for the advancement of education within the division. In the past funding has been used to create an outdoor classroom at River Heights Schools, as well as a library renovation at Crestwood School.

Tickets for the spring raffle can be purchased online until May 30 by visiting the division’s webpage. The winning draw is also expected to take place on May 30 in the school division’s head office.

Tickets are priced at a single for $5, five for $20 and 20 for $50.
