Local Liberal candidate hosting open house tonight

Tonight Tom Rooke, who is running as the Liberal Party candidate for the Medicine Hat-Cardston-Warner riding, is hosting an open house tonight at his campaign office from 7-9 p.m.

Rooke is locally known for promoting a number of local charity drives and for his service as a public school trustee for more than 10 years.

His campaign office is located across from the former Assiniboia at 659 Third St. SE. Rooke says there is ample parking in the rear along the wall designated for office space.

He is expected to give a short speech around 8 p.m.
