Two Redcliff residents in their 60s killed in TCH rollover near Swift Current

Swift Current RCMP are investigating a single-vehicle rollover on Friday that resulted in the deaths of two Redcliff residents.

Officers were initially notified of the rollover, which took place on the Trans-Canada Highway west of Swift Current, at 5:35 p.m. on April 4.

Officers responded along with local fire and EMS. One passenger, identified as a 61-year-old female from Redcliff, was declared deceased by EMS on scene. The driver and a second passenger were taken to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.

The second passenger, who died in hospital, has been identified as a 68-year-male from Redcliff. Both families of the deceased have been notified.

Swift Current Rural RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
