Pro rodeo returns with Down in the Dirt dance

Get ready to dip your dancing partner in the dirt as rodeo season returns to Medicine Hat this month and will feature the well received, adults only, Down in the Dirt dance.

Tickets are on sale for the 2025 Broncos and Honky Tonks Indoor Spring rodeo that will host the top cowboys and cowgirls competing in six major events of dirt flyin’ action, including saddle bronc, bareback riding, street wrestling, team roping, ladies barrel racing, tie down roping and bull riding.

The rodeo runs April 25 and 26 at 7 p.m., then at 1 p.m. on April 27.

Following the rodeo on Friday and Saturday night, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in a dance in the dirt of the rodeo arena in the Cypress Centre Fieldhouse.

Tickets can be purchased on the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede website, or by visiting the Stampede office, with weekend passing running $30.
