Cypress County is continuing to build on the success of its bi-annual Connections Business Luncheon, announcing a return for early May.

The event will be held at the Dunmore Safety Buzz Campus, highlighting Cypress County business and allowing attendees to explore the campus, learn about safety training services and seeing the unique space they’ve created.

“We are excited to welcome the business community to Safety Buzz Campus for this luncheon,” said Amy Zuk-Olsen, owner of Safety Buzz Campus. “This event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with local businesses, showcase our facility and highlight how we support industries with top-quality safety programs.”

This is another opportunity for businesses to connect, says economic development officer Beth Cash, one of the ways she says the County aims to support businesses. Through events like this, they are given the chance to meet, collaborate and potentially support each other.

Starting at 11:30 a.m on May 2, the luncheon is free for Cypress County businesses with a nominal fee for those outside the county. It will feature networking, followed by a welcome and brief icebreaker, with lunch and additional networking at 12:30 p.m. Guided tours of Safety Buzz Campus are offered throughout the event.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite, and for more information those interested are encouraged to contact Beth Cash, Cypress County Economic Development Officer at beth.cash@cypress.ab.ca.
