MHIP invites public to hunt for invasive plant species

With the spring season fast approaching, the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is on the hunt for invasive plant species in Police Point Park.

As such, they are inviting residents to come out and assist with the endeavour in a free public program, where participants will learn invasive plant survey techniques and different methods of removal in preparation for the upcoming season.

Those attending will check sites where they have been spotted before, as well as where they may start growing.

No registration is required for the program, those interested are asked only to show up at the Nature Centre in Police Point Park at 1 p.m. on March 28.
