The latest in the Discovery Tree series of children’s programs from the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program, offers to teach the smallest nature explorers about animals that live in the Archaeological Park.

“Join the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program as we explore the wonderful world of animal homes! Where do the deer live? Can we see signs of beaver? What made that tunnel in the undergrowth? We will share the answers to these questions and more during this family-friendly public program, aimed at children aged 2-5 years old,” said Mhairi Donnelly, assistant chief interpreter.

The program will meet March 20 beside the highway in Kin Coulee Park, where participants will walk under the highway and begin their walk starting at 11:30 a.m. Registration is not required for the nature walk, and it is free of charge to those participating.

For more information about this or any other programs, contact MHIP by calling 403-529-6225, visiting the Nature Centre in Police Point Park, or going online at natureline.info.
