Medicine Hat standup comic Josh Haskett is travelling overseas to perform at the Leicester Comedy Festival in the U.K. later this month.

What began at Mad Hatter Comedy has already spread across the country, and with a rapidly growing reputation as a must-watch performer, Haskett is ready to take on an international audience.

“I’m beyond excited to be performing at Leicester Comedy Festival,” said Haskett. “Getting the chance to do six shows, including two as a headliner, is a dream come true. To perform at the same festival as Jimmy Carr, Simon Pegg, Russell Howard previously, and this year Katherine Ryan, is so cool. Sharing the stage with other great Canadian comics like Charles Andrew Payne and Matt Santos makes it even better.”

Leicester Comedy Festival is Europe’s largest and longest-running comedy festival, and marks a significant milestone for Haskett’s career. He will perform in six shows from Feb 13-15, including two coveted headline spots.
