newsdesk@medicinehatnews.com Following a large drug bust last Thursday afternoon that led to seizure of more than $35,000 in illicit drugs by Brooks RCMP and the Southern Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit, police say they will identify two female suspects who have been charged once those charges have been sworn into court. RCMP charged both a 58-year-old and a 37-year-old female with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking after conducting two search warrants at homes in Maple Drive and Greenbrook Road after a vehicle stop in the Sunny Lea area. Large amounts of cocaine, methamphetamine and dilaudid, a morphinan odious used to treat moderate to severe pain, were seized. The News will have more details once they become available. 6
