Date Correction: Polar Plunge set for Feb. 7

The annual Medicine Hat Polar Plunge will take place Friday Feb. 7 beginning at 5:30 p.m.

A story that ran in the News on Jan. 28 stated the event was planned for Saturday and no time had been released yet.

Registration for the fundraiser that supports Special Olympics Alberta is open online by visiting specialolympics.ab.ca and clicking the ‘Events’ tab.

You can also register in person before the plunge starting at 5 p.m. at Mavericks Athletic Park.
