@MedicineHatNews Home prices in Swift Current rose five per cent on average in 2024, and despite lower number of listings, the volume of transactions increased, realtors in that city have told Alberta Newspapers. “If inventory remains low and demand stays strong, we could see further price increases in the future,” said real estate agent Kelsey Adam. Figures released by the Saskatchewan Realtors’ Association state that single family home sales totalled 286 in the city of about 18,000 residents, with the average closing price sitting at $273,700. That marks a 5 per cent jump from 2023, while the median sale price rose 8.7 per cent to $260,000. Changes in volume marked a 9 per cent jump over 2023, while listings dipped 3 per cent, year-over-year, and six per cent below the 10-year average. 7
