Comedy tour to come to Medicine Hat

As part of their 70-city tour, the Snowed in Comedy Tour is scheduled to blow into Medicine Hat.

The independent comedy tour has become a Canadian success story, growing from a way for founder Dan Quinn to pay rent while snowboarding with buddies to become the biggest comedy tour in Canada.

Likening themselves to the Tragically Hip, the tour promises a showcase of Canadian talent in an increasingly American entertainment world.

The lineup this year includes tour founder and Just for Laughs winner Dan Quinn, CBC’s The Debaters favourite Erica Sigurdson, Canadian Comedian of the Year Award Winner and Gemini nominee Pete Zedlacher and Great Canadian Laugh-Off Winner Paul Myrehaug.

Having performed in the US, France, Australia and Switzerland, Medicine Hat show will be at Esplanade Arts & Heritage Centre on Saturday, February 1st at 7:30 p.m.
