asmith@medicinehatnews.com The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is heading down to the river for the latest of its guided walks. Residents are invited to meet out front of the Nature Centre on Jan. 15 at 11 a.m. to walk along the South Saskatchewan River for an hour, learn more about the aquatic species that live there and uncover the mysteries of lake sturgeon, walleye and northern pike beneath the river surface. Those interested are encouraged to bring bring enthusiasm and expertise about the South Saskatchewan River.
