Firefighters called to house fire on Stratton Way on Thursday

Firefighters battled a house fire on Stratton Way on Thursday evening, the cause of which, as of writing, is still under investigation.

At approximately 6:50 p.m., crews responded to the fire. The situation was thankfully able to be brought under control swiftly, and no injuries were reported.

Medicine Hat Fire and Emergency Services reminded residents on a Facebook post informing the public of the fire to ensure that they have working smoke alarms on all levels of their homes, and to call 911 in the event of an emergency.
