To encourage more residents to sign up for eBilling services, including utilities, the city is giving away a $500 gift card to one resident who registers for the online bill payment service before Dec. 12.

The city is promoting options available to residents as an ongoing national postal strike between CUPW and Canada Post enters day 22.

Once registered to the city’s eBilling service, users are able to view utility bills and account balances, access taxation account balances and have the opportunity to sign up for paperless billing.

Users also have access to a consumption analysis and threshold notifications on their utility bills, and as well, users can access their yearly property tax and assessments, with a paperless billing option coming soon for residents.

You can visit medicinehat.ca/paperless or call 403-529-8111 for more information.

Current eBilling users will also be automatically entered into the draw for the $500 gift card.
