Goat path in Crescent Heights closed due to snowfall

Due to an inability to safely remove snow, a section of trail in northeast Crescent Heights, commonly referred to as the Goat Path, will be closed until further notice.

This narrow section of trail has become increasingly difficult to clear over the years, and parks and recreation staff have determined the amount of slope prevents safe, reliable snow removal.

Residents are asked to obey signage and utilize other routes to get between northeast Crescent Heights and the bottom of Parkview Drive. The city will investigate other potential methods of safe snow removal in this area.
