Interpretive Program hosting ornament-making workshop on Dec. 7

By Medicine Hat News on November 21, 2024.

The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is excited to help get families into the Holiday spirit with a new crafting event.

“Ornament making is such a wonderful tradition enjoyed by so many cultures, and what better inspiration can we find than our friendly Canadian beaver,” said Rhys Mah Poy, park interpreter. “Join us for this fun workshop where you’ll learn some needle working skills, connect with others away from the chilly outdoors, and discover fascinating facts about these adorable animals.”

This event is intended for those ages 16 and up, and is of moderate difficulty, and as such, participants will be asked to ensure that they can thread a needle prior to the activity.

The workshop is $10 per person and will take place on Dec. 7 from 1-3 p.m. Space is limited, so those interest are encouraged to call the Nature Line at 403-529-6225, or visit the centre, to register soon.
